Alma Soomro

Alma has joined the British Asian Trust as a Campaign Associate for the Milkar campaign in Pakistan - a nationwide campaign on mental health in partnership with the Geo/Jang group.

Alma is a career development practitioner with seven years of professional experience in project coordination, communications, advocacy, public relations and event management.

She has proven expertise in working towards education, sexual reproductive health rights, agriculture, livelihoods, mental health, climate sustainability and gender equality as a cut across theme.

She is passionate about international news, public speaking and an advocate for sustainable development. She also holds a master’s degree from Liverpool John Moore’s University.
