Anna Mennella

Anna joined the British Asian Trust in October 2023 as Senior Programme Fundraising Manager. She focuses on fundraising for the Child Opportunity Fund and conservation work in India, with a particular focus on developing fundraising from large institutional/statutory donors of the likes of Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, United States Agency for International Development and World Bank.

With 15 years of experience, including 5 years on the ground across Africa, Middle East, Asia, and Eastern Europe, Anna worked both on humanitarian and international development programmes, with a focus on protection and livelihoods.

Anna was previously with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) as a Resource Mobilisation Advisor where she managed the bilateral partnership with Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office. Before that, she also supported peace building and peace mediation work at political level and worked across teams to design monitoring and evaluation systems and processes in technical non-governmental organisations.

Anna has a master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Naples “L’Orientale”.
