Nazia Bilal
Nazia Beceril Bilal is a development practitioner who specialises in grant management and advocacy. She joined the British Asian Trust in September 2021 as the Pakistan Livelihoods Programme Manager.
She brings a wide array of experience from working with international development organisations, parliamentarians, start-ups and non-profits including years in programme development and management, policy and legislative research and analysis, as well as government engagement and partnerships. She recently joined Gender Equity Hub Pakistan as an Advisory Board member.
Nazia grew up across Southeast Asia and is fluent in four languages. She graduated with a first-class honours degree in Politics and International Relations from the London School of Economics and has completed the first part of MIT’s MicroMasters in Data, Economics and Development Policy course. She is currently pursuing a Masters degree in International Development from the School of Oriental and African Studies.
