Siddhartha Pande
Siddhartha has joined British Asian Trust as Head of Programmes wherein he will be providing Programme Management guidance, ensure coordinated delivery of the Child Opportunities Fund and oversee implementation of other programmes in India as well.
Siddhartha is a Programme Management Specialist with more than 25 years of experience in the development sector having worked on issues of children, refugees and elderly. He has had varied experience of handling issues of Child Protection with focus on Child Labour and Trafficking, Children in Street Situations, Child Protection System Strengthening, Gender Based Violence and Social Inclusion. He has managed large multi-state, multi-year grants supported by Corporate and Institutional donors such as UNHCR, DFID, US Department of State, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Netherlands, Oak Foundation, Norton LifeLock, etc.
He was previously with Save the Children where he worked for close to 15 years thereby providing Programme Management leadership for Child Protection projects as also managing projects in 5 States of Eastern India. He has been involved in designing and development of portfolio of Child Protection projects, ensuring that robust systems (MEAL and Finance) are developed within each Child Protection project so as to be able to track their progress and being involved in discussions with various donors for potential funding and updating them on the work on Child Protection. He has also led projects on Education and Health.
