Annual Dinner & Reception 2025

More than 300 supporters of the British Asian Trust attended our star-studded Annual Dinner & Reception, raising £750,000 to support our life-changing work in child protection, education, livelihoods, mental health and conservation.

The event took place at The Peninsula London and featured a special message from Royal Founding Patron, His Majesty The King, who described the Trust as “a beacon of hope for countless communities”. It was hosted by British Asian Trust Ambassador, Nihal Arthanayake with incredible performances by Magic Singh and chart-topping Indian singer, Kanika Kapoor.  

Speeches were given by London Mayor, Sir Sadiq Khan and The Rt. Hon. Wes Streeting MP, with other notable guests including The Rt. Hon. Kemi Badenoch MP, Bollywood superstar, Abhishek Bachchan; Actors, Amy Jackson and Ed Westwick and cricketing legend, Kumar Sangakkara.
