His Majesty The King to continue as Royal Founding Patron of the British Asian Trust

We are delighted that His Majesty The King will formally continue as Royal Founding Patron of the British Asian Trust. The news was confirmed by Buckingham Palace following a review of over 1,000 patronages of The late Queen, The former Prince of Wales, and The former Duchess of Cornwall.

Their Majesties The King and Queen Camilla will also formally continue as Joint Presidents of Elephant Family, a conservation charity which is a part of the British Asian Trust. The announcement marks the first anniversary of Their Majesties’ Coronation.

The British Asian Trust was founded in 2007 by His Majesty King Charles III and a group of British Asian business leaders, to tackle widespread poverty, inequality and injustice in South Asia. With the close support of His Majesty King Charles III, the Trust has reached 12 million vulnerable and marginalised people in the region so far.

His passion, guidance and support has always magnified the impact of our work. We look forward to continuing to reach many more communities and people with him by our side.”
