Abhijit De

Abhijit De joined the British Asian Trust in June 2024 as a Senior Programme Officer. In this role, he is responsible for monitoring grants, reviewing program action plans, and providing direct mentoring to NGO partners in Bihar. He plays a pivotal role in assisting NGO partners with liaising with local government functionaries and stakeholders, overseeing the program's strategic direction, and managing operational and human resource planning.

Abhijit has over 20 years of experience in the Social Development sector. His extensive background encompasses programme management, data management, and comprehensive Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) systems. Abhijit has previously contributed his expertise to various prestigious organizations, including CRY, Purpose India, the Freedom Fund, FHI 360, GIZ, Futures Group International (now Palladium), and Catholic Relief Services.

He also holds an MBA and a Bachelor's degree in Science from Calcutta University.
