Adil Sattar

Adil joined the British Asian Trust Social Finance team in 2023, his role is to scope, design and deliver Pakistan's first Social Impact Bond in education.

He has a background in strategy design, implementation, programme management and teaching. Before joining the British Asian Trust he worked as a Strategy Manager at Aga Khan University, during his time there he developed and implemented a five-year strategic plan that led to significant growth in research funding and educational programmes.

Adil also has experience in teaching, he co-taught courses in Leadership and Economics of Education at a leading university in Pakistan. He is passionate about improving service delivery in the global south and truly believes in the transformative power of education.
