Devender Kumar Singh

Devender Kumar Singh Joined the British Asian Trust in August 2023 as a Finance Officer. He will be helping in grant monitoring for the British Asian Trust in Rajasthan and Delhi.

Devender has 23 years of rich and extensive experience in the development sector with international and national level organisations. Most recently, he was Senior Finance Officer at Abt Associates India Pvt. Ltd. a fully holding company of Abt Global USA which was implementing USAID, Gates Foundation and Packard Foundation-funded health projects in India.

He has Managed subcontracts and sub-awards under different donor-supported projects in India, including a pre-award financial assessment, due diligence and ensuring compliance. Prior to this, he was working as a Programme Finance Manager at the Aga Khan Foundation (India).

He has also worked as a state finance officer in Bihar for the PACS (Poorest Areas Civil Society) programme and AMTA- Health Institute for Mother and Child as Senior Programme Officer (Finance) and with Action India and People for Animal (PFA) Trust.

Devender graduated from Allahabad University and has completed 3 years of training with Charnalia Bhatia & Gandhi Chartered Accountant Firm in New Delhi.
