Dr Bivash Pandav
After completing his doctoral research on marine turtles, Bivash joined the Wildlife Institute of India as a scientist in 1999. During the course of next 20 years, Bivash carried out field research on a wide range of animals such as tigers, elephants and swamp deer. Between 2007 and 2010, Bivash worked with WWF-International and coordinated WWF’s tiger program in 11 tiger range countries. Bivash joined Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS), one of the oldest conservation organisations in India, as its Director in January 2021. Over the past 12 months, Bivash has been actively engaged in various conservation programs of BNHS and is currently stationed at Mumbai.
